§ 13-54. Payment of license fees; posting of license.

(a)

Payment of licenses authorized and levied under this article shall accompany the report required by section 13-53 and shall become delinquent if not paid when due. Interest of 12 percent per annum and a penalty of 25 percent of the license fee due shall be assessed and collected together with all license fees due in the same manner as other taxes and fees due the parish.

(b)

A separate license shall be issued by the parish council for each store for which the license fee has been paid as above provided, and it shall be the duty of the licensee to post it in each store.
