§ 15-131. Complaints to the parish.

In the event of a complaint filed with the parish government or the office of public health regarding any allegation that an individual sewerage system's mechanical plant is not operating properly and is discharging untreated and/or undertreated sewerage the parish sanitarian will be notified and he/she is hereby authorized to direct the parish employee(s) provided as inspectors and mechanical plant individual sewerage system technicians to investigate the complaint and report to the said parish sanitarian his/her/their findings and thereafter the parish sanitarian shall in the case of a violation of section 15-127 proceed criminally and/or civilly as the parish sanitarian deems proper.
