Road subdistrict no. 1 of road district no. 505 of the parish is hereby created. The
boundaries of the district shall be as follows:
Begin at the northwest corner of fractional section 1, township 4 south, range 7 east,
St. Helena Meridian; thence east along the south boundary of section 48 to the southeast
corner; thence north along the east boundary of section 48 to the southwest corner
of fractional north half of fractional section 1; thence east along the south line
of the north half of the north half of section 1, township 4 south, range 7 east and
sections 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, township 4 south, range 8 east, and sections 6, 5,
4, 3, 2, township 4 south, range 9 east to the west line of section 45; thence south
and east along the boundaries of section 45 to the northwest corner of section 37;
thence south along the west boundaries of sections 37, 38, 39, 24, 42 and 36, township
4 south, range 9 east, sections 1, 12, 13, 24, 25 and 36, township 5 south, range
9 east, to the northwest corner of the south half of the south half of section 36,
township 5 south, range 9 east; thence west along the north line of the south half
of the south half of sections 35, 34, 33, 32 and 31, township 5 south, range 9 east
and section 36, township 5 south, range 8 east to the east line of section 46; thence
north to the northeast corner of section 46; thence west along the north line of section
46 to the east boundary of section 45, township 5 south, range 8 east; thence northwest
and south along the boundaries of section 45 to the Tangipahoa River; thence in a
northwesterly direction along the Tangipahoa River to the southwest corner of section
51, township 4 south, range 7 east; thence east and north along the boundaries of
section 51 to the point of beginning.
