§ 19-381. Created; boundaries.

  • Road district no. 4 of the parish is hereby created. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows:

    Begin where State Route 440 crosses the Tangipahoa River; thence south along the meanderings of the Tangipahoa River to the section line dividing section 50, township 3 south, range 7 east and section 50, township 4 south, range 7 east; thence east along the section line dividing townships 3 and 4 until it reaches a common corner of sections 35 and 36 in township 3 south, range 8 east and sections 1 and 2 in township 4 south, range 8 east; thence south on State Route 445 on the section line dividing sections 1 and 2, 11 and 12, 13 and 14 to the common corner of sections 13, 14, 23 and 24, township 4 south, range 8 east; thence east along State Route 445 in a southeasterly direction along State Route 445 until it reaches a common corner of sections 8, 9, 16 and 17 of township 5 south, range 9 east; thence east along State Route 40 along the section line dividing sections 9 and 16, 10 and 15, 11 and 14 of township 5 south, range 9 east; thence along State Route 40 through HR 13 and 40, township 5 south, range 9 east to a point where State Route 40 intersects the St. Tammany-Tangipahoa Parish line; thence north on a line dividing Tangipahoa and St. Tammany Parishes and Tangipahoa and Washington Parishes to a point where State Route 440 crosses the Tangipahoa-Washington Parish line; thence west along State Route 440 to the Tangipahoa River which is the point of beginning.
