§ 19-131. Created; boundaries; domicile.

(a)

There is hereby created gravity drainage district no. 4 of the parish, which district shall include all the lands lying within the following described limits and boundaries, entirely located in the third ward of the parish and the sixth ward of the parish:

Commence at the southwest corner of section 36, township 4 south, range 6 east thence north along the line dividing the parishes of St. Helena and Tangipahoa to the northwest corner of fractional section 1, township 3 south, range 6 east; thence east along the township line to a point where the line touches the Tangipahoa River in the northeast corner of section 55, township 3 south, range 7 east; thence south following the meander of Tangipahoa River to the south line of section 2, township 5 south, range 7 east; thence west along the south line of sections 2 and 3 and continuing west across a portion of section 4 in township 5 south, range 7 east to its junction with the east boundary line of Tan- gipahoa drainage district no. 1; thence in a northwesterly direction along the boundary line of the Tangipahoa drainage district no. 1, which is the west line of the right-of-way of U.S. Highway 51, to the line between township 4 south and township 5 south, range 7 east; thence west along the township line to the point of beginning.

(b)

The domicile of gravity drainage district no. 4 is hereby fixed in the Town of Amite City, Louisiana.
