Under and by virtue of the authority conferred by R.S. Title 46, Chapter 10, a hospital service district is hereby created within the parish which hospital service
district shall comprise and embrace all of that territory within Tangipahoa Parish
south of the township line dividing Townships 4 and 5, which property comprises the
territory beginning at a point where the northwest corner of Ward 7 meets the Livingston
Parish line ("point of beginning"), from said point proceed south along the parish
line to the St. John the Baptist Parish line. Thence, east along the parish line to
the St. Tammany Parish line. Thence, north along the parish line to the township line
dividing Townships 4 and 5. Thence, west along the township line dividing Townships
4 and 5 to the Livingston Parish line. Thence, south along the parish line to the
point of beginning.
