§ 19-256. Created; boundaries.

(a)

There is hereby created an industrial district of the parish to be known as industrial district no. 2 of the parish, which industrial district shall have all the rights, powers, privileges and duties granted to industrial districts by the constitution and laws of the state.

(b)

The industrial district shall include within its boundaries the following described territory:

The whole of the sixth ward of the parish as the boundaries of the sixth ward were fixed and defined as of September 25, 1973, less and except any portion of the sixth ward lying within the corporate limits of the City of Hammond, Louisiana, as the corporate limits were fixed and determined as of April 24, 1973, and September 25, 1973.
