§ 19-621. Created; boundaries.
(a)
Pursuant to the authority contained in Act No. 63 of 1932 (Louisiana Constitution, Article XIV, Section 14 C.1) there is hereby created a road lighting district in the parish to be known as road lighting district no. 1 of the parish.
(b)
The boundaries of the road lighting district herein created shall be as follows:
Commencing at a point where the north line of section 33, township 7 south, range 7 east intersects the thread of the Natalbany River; thence in an easterly direction along the north line of sections 33, 34, 35 and 36, township 7 south, range 7 east, and sections 31 through 36 of township 7 south, range 8 east and sections 31 and 32 of township 7 south, range 9 east to the thread of the Tangipahoa River; then along the thread of the Tangipahoa River which is the eastern line of ward 7 in a southeasterly direction to the ward line along the shore of Lake Pontchartrain; thence in a southwesterly direction along the ward line on the shore of Lake Pontchartrain to the thread of Manchac Pass which is the south line of ward 7 to Lake Maurepas; and thence along the ward line on the shore of Lake Maurepas to the thread of the Natalbany River; thence along the thread of the Natalbany River which is the parish line and the western limit of ward 7 in a northeasterly direction to the point of beginning.
