§ 19-746. Established.

A new water district is hereby created, as of November 16, 1992, known as the Tangipahoa Water District which shall have a territorial jurisdiction comprised of the entirety of the territory of the parish, less and except those geographical areas lying within the territorial of any existing municipality. The Tangipahoa Water District shall be governed by a board of commissioners appointed in accordance with state law.
