By virtue of the authority conferred by Chapter 23 of Title 33 of the Louisiana Revised
Statutes of 1950, as amended (the "Act"), and other constitutional and statutory authority,
a mosquito abatement district is hereby created within the parish, which mosquito
abatement district shall comprise and embrace all of the territory within the following
described boundaries, to-wit:
All that portion of township 6 south, range 6 east situated in Tangipahoa Parish;
all of township 6 south, range 7 east; all of township 6 south, range 8 east; all
of township 6 south, range 9 east; all that portion of township 7 south, range 6 east
and all that portion of township 7 south, range 7 east situated in Tangipahoa Parish;
all of township 7 south, range 8 east; all of township 7 south, range 9 east; all
those portions of township 8 south, ranges 7, 8 and 9 east situated in Tangipahoa
Parish; and all those portions of township 9 south, ranges 8 and 9 east situated in
Tangipahoa Parish.
