§ 22-83. Additional parking regulations.

In addition to the general parking restrictions provided in this article and provided by the highway regulatory act in R.S. 32:143 et seq., which are hereby adopted by reference, the council may from time to time prohibit parking at specified places and/or times; or regulate the length of time a vehicle may remain parked; or regulate, limit or restrict the manner of parking; and it shall be the duty of the parish to install and maintain appropriate signs, signals or markings giving notice of such regulations or restrictions. It shall be unlawful to fail to comply with the directions of any such sign or marking.
