§ 24-27. License required.

(a)

No owner or operator of an ambulance shall permit it to be used or operated in Tangipahoa Parish by picking up patients with points of origin in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana without first obtaining a permit therefor from the parish council.

(b)

The parish council is hereby given authority to promulgate such reasonable rules and regulations to enforce the provisions of this article.
