§ 2-1. Worker's compensation, employer liability insurance fund.

(a)

The parish shall join the Parish Government Risk Management Agency and participate in its group self-insurance fund which has been formed to serve the worker's compensation and employer liability claims of the employees of the parishes joining the agency.

(b)

The parish council authorizes its proper officer to execute the application to join the Parish Government Risk Management Agency and participate in its group self-insurance fund with respect to worker's compensation and employer liability claims.

(c)

The parish shall expend a sum of money as its contribution to the group self-insurance fund for worker's compensation and employer liability risk sharing maintained or established by the Parish Government Risk Management Agency.
