§ 5-74. Permit applicants to designate manager who will assume responsibility in absence of permittee; changes in managers; offenses by managers.

(a)

Each applicant, at the time of making his application under this article, or as soon thereafter as possible, shall designate some person who will act as manager and assume responsibility for the proper operation of the business in the applicant's absence. The applicant shall at the same time, submit evidence in the form required by the sheriff that such person also possesses all the qualifications required of the applicant.

(b)

The applicant shall immediately notify the sheriff of any changes in such designated person and submit evidence as required above as to the qualifications of the new person.

(c)

Any act or failure to act in the operation of the business or any violation of, or failure to comply with, any of the provisions of this article or of any applicable law of the state by such designated person shall be grounds for suspension or revocation of the applicant's permit.

(d)

Failure of the applicant to comply with the provisions of this section shall also be grounds for the suspension or revocation of the applicant's permit.
