Chapter 8. BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS |
Article I. IN GENERAL |
§ 8-8. Violations and penalties.
(a)
It shall be unlawful for any person to:
(1)
Use any false or fictitious name or address or knowingly make any other false statement or conceal any material fact in an application for a license or renewal thereof.
(2)
Lend or knowingly permit any other person to use his contractor's license.
(3)
Fail or refuse to surrender to proper authority a contractor's license which has been suspended or revoked.
(b)
Any person who fails to secure a permit prior to installing equipment for new construction or who violates any of the provisions of this code shall upon conviction be subject to a fine of not more than $1,000.00 or less than $500.00 or imprisonment for not more than 60 days or by both such fine and imprisonment. A separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each day during which or on which any violation occurs or continues.
