§ 16-4. Transporting underground water or surface water.

Any person is hereby prohibited from transporting underground water or surface water from the parish to any person located outside of the parish, provided, however, the Tangipahoa Water District shall be permitted to sell water to the Town of Springfield, Louisiana, and to transport same through its system of lines to the Tangipahoa-Livingston Parish boundary for ultimate delivery to the Town of Springfield, Louisiana.
