§ 18-74. Criminal penalty.

(a)

In addition to any civil penalties provided for herein, the failure to dispose of roofing material as defined herein at the Tangipahoa Parish Landfill or another duly licensed and permitted landfill shall constitute a criminal offense. Each day that the roofing material remains at an unapproved disposed site shall constitute a separate offense.

(b)

Any person whether an individual, partnership, corporation, company or other entity who disposes of roofing material at an unapproved disposal site shall be punished as provided by section 1-13 of chapter 1 of the Code of Ordinance of Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana.
