§ 19-207. Powers.

The hospital service district created by this division shall be known and designated as hospital service district no. 2 of the parish and as thus created shall constitute a body corporate and political subdivision of the state and as such shall have all the rights, power and privileges granted and conferred by the constitution and statutes of this state to such subdivisions, including the authority to incur debt, to issue bonds and to levy taxes.
