§ 23-61. Suits and failure to bring suit.
(a)
Whenever it appears that a person is violating or is threatening to violate any provision of this article, the parish president with the approval by resolution of the parish council may bring suit to restrain that person from continuing the violation or from carrying the threat. Any legal proceeding so brought shall be in the name of the parish council-president government.
(b)
Venue shall be in the Twenty-First Judicial District Court in and for the parish.
(c)
In any such suit, the parish government may obtain injunctions, prohibitory and mandatory, including temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions as the facts warrant.
