§ 2-58. Procedure to begin hearings.
(a)
The parish council shall review the complaint, which shall be in the form of a sworn petition, and if it determines that the facts set forth in the complaint constitute a cause for suspension or revocation of a parish license or permit, the parish council shall summon the licensee or permittee to appear before it at an adjudication hearing and show cause why his license or permit should not be suspended or revoked.
(b)
The parish council shall review the complaint, which shall be in the form of a sworn petition, and if it determines that the facts set forth in the complaint constitute a cause for removal from office of a parish appointee, the parish council shall summon the appointee to appear before it at an adjudication hearing and show cause why his appointment should not be revoked.
