§ 8-3. Licensure and registration for residential and commercial buildings.

(a)

All general contractors, together with electrical and mechanical subcontractors, when contracting in an amount in excess of $10,000.00, must be licensed by the State of Louisiana.

(b)

All plumbers must be licensed by the State of Louisiana.

(c)

All general contractor's residential contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Tangipahoa Parish building official before he/she can bid, enter into any contract and/or perform work. All contractors must submit proof of state licensure(s) at time of registration.
